- Super histoire, une histoire drole, faut le lire..
Clever story, must read. Very creative and fun. - Easy to read
- The book was delivered on time, but it was in very bad condition. The cover is tear of at the bottom and the plastic is peeling off. I cannot give it as a gift.
- Not one of the very funniest of the series, in my opinion. The ending has a valedictory quality that feels sentimental rather than hilarious. Nevertheless, Asterix aficionados will find it thoroughly enjoyable, with spoofs of real estate, labor relations, commerce and of course every ethnicity that enters the picture. This kind of material doesn't get published anymore, and this book is one of Goscinny's last, so the valedictory feeling is quaintly appropriate. As always, the book is well drawn. No seascapes, though, as this is one of the very few that don't feature the pirates.
