• Who knew that pet-sitting could be so hilariously cut-throat!? Along with funny stories about the lengths celebrities will go to spoil their pets, the book goes into detail about how hard it is to find good help! As Laura's pet-sitting company grew, she had to hire help and, OMG, the characters she employed from the pool of whackies in Hollywood is jaw-dropping. A fun, entertaining read!
• Great light and entertaining read about a young woman's struggle to start and run her own business. Had memoir-like qualities with both personal and painful accounts but also very funny comedic scenarios. Interwoven in these stories was practical advise about starting and running any business. The plucky protagonist keeps her spirits up as she navigates the start of a new life in LA and demonstrates that one has to keep their eyes open and recognize opportunity when it presents itself. Very insightful, poignant and funny. A great read.
• A delightful, quick read. Humerous and poignant. With many laugh out loud moments, fun anecdotes on moving to a big city in your 20s, and great insights into human (and animal) nature, The Pet Sitters Tale is a real treat of a book.

Very funny and entertaining to read with a peek into LA's elite personalities. Sometimes, I wondered if the owners needed the sitter more then the pet! Great read!
